The company

C12 Quantum Electronics develops reliable & application-specific quantum computers, to solve highly complex computing tasks, currently out of reach of even most powerful supercomputers.

Building a quantum computer still needs innovators ready to tackle exciting challenges. C12 founders are convinced that only a new material for the qubit will bring a technological breakthrough.

C12 Quantum Electronics uniquely uses carbon nanotubes as the fundamental building blocks of its quantum processor. This high-purity material minimizes errors, radically improves performance and reduces hardware overhead for fault-tolerant computing. Combined with well-established semiconductor techniques, carbon nanotubes will help scale quantum computing, just as silicon revolutionized classical computing.

Founded in 2020, C12 Quantum Electronics is a fast-growing start-up, having raised a seed round of USD 10 million in June 2021 and building its own lab space in the center of Paris.

The job

We already have two international projects running and we’re now embarking on a rapid scale-up journey globally. Along with the CEO, you will help source, structure, deliver and run partnerships with various players from the Quantum Computing ecosystem (cloud providers, quantum software, end users).

You will cultivate and develop relationships among business partners while also evangelizing about quantum computing and C12’s unique technology. You will also contribute to the product development roadmap, as C12 is building its first products and is still pre-revenues.

The job will involve :

  • Understand quantum computing market trends and identify opportunities for new partnerships
  • Evangelize C12’s tech and brand externally, attend conferences to represent C12 and build professional networks among the Quantum Computing ecosystem
  • Manage relationships with customers and strategic partners to build the brand and the business. Liaise with partners to solve issues, communicate needs and create synergy
  • Contribute to C12’s early product development by linking external needs to internal capabilities
  • Analyze and report on current and potential partner initiatives, forecast for strategic changes and report on key metrics

Requirements

  • You have a master degree or a specialization in business, administration / management, or a related field
  • You have prior experience (at least 5 years) in closing and running strategic partnerships with global accounts, in quantum computing, high-performance computing or cloud computing
  • You have the ability to quickly understand market trends and identify business opportunities
  • You are a strategic thinker with expert communication skills
  • Good communication in English (verbal and written) is essential
  • Organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are also beneficial
  • Former experience in quantum computing and/or study of quantum physics is seen as an advantage

Benefits

You should join us if :

  • You want to contribute to achieve landmark results in quantum computing, making a difference in the emerging quantum technologies
  • You want to work within a 30-people team with various backgrounds in nano-fabrication, quantum electronics, and carbon nanotube science to materialize the vision of a revolutionary quantum computing processor
  • You want to learn about quantum computing
  • You relate to our values (excellence, scientific integrity, diversity, curiosity, and care) and want to help us define our product-focus culture and ambition to accelerate

We can offer a highly competitive salary and benefits package, including share options
