Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Director to lead our marketing team and develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our quantum computing company. The Marketing Director will work closely with the executive team to create and execute marketing plans that increase brand awareness, drive demand, and generate revenue. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in B2B marketing, experience in the technology industry, and a deep understanding of the quantum computing landscape.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company's marketing strategy to increase brand awareness, drive demand, and generate revenue
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content marketing strategy that includes website content, whitepapers, blog posts, case studies, and other materials that showcase the company's thought leadership in the quantum computing space
  • Plan and execute demand generation campaigns, including email marketing, webinars, events, and other activities that drive leads and pipeline growth
  • Develop and manage relationships with media and industry analysts to generate positive coverage and build the company's reputation as a leader in the quantum computing space
  • Manage and mentor the marketing team, including setting goals, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and feedback as needed
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and executive teams to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives and drive revenue growth
  • Monitor and analyze marketing metrics to continuously improve the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and programs

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the technology industry
  • Experience in quantum computing or related field is highly desirable
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that have driven revenue growth
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create compelling content and communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using marketing data to inform decision-making
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence without authority
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
