The Strategic Finance Manager will report to the CFO and can be based in any of our locations in Europe. Core responsibilities include leading the fundraising, IR, corporate finance, and financial planning activities. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter, who is analytical, structured and enjoys collaborating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 What will I be doing?

• Drive the fundraising process (upcoming Series B, and future equity and debt raises);
• Take a lead in IQM’s current IR-related activities and develop the company's IR practices
• Support executive decision making through financial analysis and reporting;
• Evaluate and execute M&A and strategic partnership opportunities;
• Oversee FP&A activity and link that to our capital strategy and longer term strategic planning;
• Prepare materials for Board of Directors and other governance meetings
• Act as the main point of contact and spokesperson for the investor and finance provider community together with the CEO and CFO
• Lead timely and periodic investor reporting activities and respond to ad-hoc information requests from investors
• Provide insights on market activity and investor sentiment to management
• Manage and create financial reports, investor presentations, and other financial communication materials in coordination with the CFO and the communications team

What skills do I need?

• BSc / MSc. in business, finance, economics or equivalent, and relevant work experience
• 6+ years of corporate finance experience in a high growth hardware company, or combination of corporate finance/investment banking/consulting/FP&A/audit experience
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills: ability to effectively influence colleagues and work across organization, geographies and teams 
• Highly financially literate with the ability to respond to analytical requests from the investor community
• Deep understanding of the capital markets and valuation methods used by analysts and investors
• Good business acumen, financial knowledge and analytical skills, including ability to build financial models  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience distilling and presenting complex financial analyses into action-oriented recommendations
• A high level of attention to detail and professional integrity
• Ability to see big picture and balance priorities in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization;
• Experience from growth companies, with start-up experience seen as a valuable asset
