Job description:

We are seeking for a talented Quantum Applications Engineer to contribute to the development of quantum algorithms in the areas of logistics, finance, energy, and chemistry. The successful applicant will join Qilimanjaro’s Theory and Applications team to support the development and optimization of quantum and quantum-inspired algorithm, while working close to our clients and their use-cases. The candidate is expected to be able to implement the developed solutions and benchmark them against different solvers based on different programming frameworks. 

Requirements:

• Degrees: BSc or MSc in Physics, Computer Science/Engineering or related
• Skills: theoretical quantum physics, machine learning, software development, scientific writing.
• Experience in quantum algorithm development

The following skills will be valued:

• Experience working as a technical consultant.
• Knowledge on quantum benchmarking.
• Understanding of industry use-cases of the logistics, finance or chemistry sectors.
• Experience using quantum and quantum-inspired solvers from DWave, Fujitsu, IBM, Riggeti, etc.
